Die Tour startet auf dem Parkplatz beim Ensinger See zwischen 71665 Vaihingen/Enz - Ensingen und Kleinglattbach. Zunächst geht am Ensinger See vorbei in Richtung Eselsburg. Nach etwa einem Kilometer beginnt eine recht heftige Steigung die zum Wald hinauf führt. Oben angekommen führt ein steiler Pfad hinauf zur Eselsburg, einem Aussichtsturm der jedoch nur Sonntags und saisonal geöffnet hat. Dort überquert man eine Holzbrücke und folgt unmittelbar danach dem Pfad rechts der sich immer auf dem Höhenkamm hält. Diesem folgt man etwa 5 Kilometer, wobei es immer etwas auf und abwärts geht. Den Höhepunkt bildelt die finale Abfahrt runter zur Landesstraße zwischen Illingen und Schützingen. Hier zweigt man links ab und lässt es locker durch den Wald ausrollen. Durch Ensingen durch geht es am Bach entlang zum Ensinger See wo die Tour endet.

The tour starts in the parking lot at Ensinger lake between 71665 Vaihingen / Enz - Ensingen and Kleinglattbach. First goes at Ensinger lake and heads towards Eselsburg. After about one kilometer a pretty violent slope begins which leads to the forest up. At the top of a steep path up to the castle Ass, a lookout tower, however, has the only open seasonally and Sundays. There you cross a wooden bridge and immediately followed by the path to the right of always adheres to the ridge. Follow this about 5 km, where it's always something up and down. The highlight bildelt the final descent down to the main road between Illingen and Schützingen. Here you turn left and makes it easy to roll through the forest. By Ensingen by it goes along the stream for Ensinger lake where the tour ends.
