... es gibt viele Wege zum Kloster Eberbach - dieser ist zugegeben ein wenig anstrengend. Trotzdem lohnt es sich für den Biker, selbst dann, wenn er am Kloster einfach vorbei fährt ... Wir starten in den Laubenkolonien von Schierstein, erklimmen das "Himmelreich", einen steilen Hügel bei Frauenstein und radeln dann das Lippbachtal hoch, bis Georgenborn. Dort gehts dann hinüber nach Schlangenbad und weiter hinauf, bis das Rheingaugebirge erklommen ist (ca. 600 hm). Von dort oben gibts schöne Blicke auf Rhein und Gau, der Weg geht nun weiter rheinabwärts (also westlich). Obwohl als Höhenweg bezeichnet, ist er keineswegs eben, nach allem auf und ab kommen wir zum höchsten Punkt der Tour und stürzen uns in die (mit Verlaub) längste An-Einem-Stück-Abfahrt der Gegend, sage und schreibe 530 hm ohne nennenswerten Gegenanstieg (wenn man nicht zu viel bremst :-). Du solltest aber - trotz der schönen Neigung und Kurven - höllisch aufpassen, da gerade im Wald der Waldarbeiter am Weg das eine oder andere Hindernis hinterlassen haben könnte (Bäume quer, tiefe Querrinnen oder auch plötzliche Geröllabschnitte). Schließlich kommst Du in Erbach raus, radelst nach Eltville und dann am Rhein entlang zurück in den Schiersteiner Hafen ... Viel Spaß
