Kurze knackige Tour zur Ruine Rauber mit kniffligem Trail für Geübte. Vorsicht Tragepassagen und Steilstücke!!! Los geht es am Kirchheimer Schlossgymnasium durch die Bohnau richtung Dettingen und weiter das Tal aufwärts nach Owen und Oberlenningen. Eine wirklich angenehme Steige ist die alte Lenninger, auf der es nahezu keinen motorisierten Verkehr gibt. Dennoch fährt man bequem auf Asphalt. Oben angekommen geht es auf der Hochfläche gen altem Restaurant Engelhof und weiter zum Landschulheim Diepoldsburg. Von dort aus geht es dann abwärts über knifflige Pfade zur Ruine Rauber und zum Sattelbogen. Vom Sattelbogen fährt man dann genussvoll richtung Brucken und durch das Lenninger Tal zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Als Rast bietet sich der Kirchheimer Hirschgarten in der Dettinger Strasse am Bahnübergang an.

Short crisp tour to the ruins Rauber with kniffligem trail for experienced hikers. Caution carrying sections and steep sections !!! It starts at Kirchheim Castle High School by the Bohnau direction Dettingen and further up the valley to Owen and Oberlenningen. A really pleasant walks is the old Lenninger on which there is almost no motorized traffic. Yet you drive comfortably on asphalt. At the top it goes to the high surface conditions Engelhof old restaurant and on to the school camp Diepoldsberg castle. From there it goes down over tricky paths to the ruins Rauber and to the saddle bow. From the saddle bow, take the road enjoyable directional bridges and through the valley Lenninger back to the starting point. As Rast offers the Kirchheimer deer garden in the Dettinger Road at the level crossing.
