Diese Tour haben wir anhand der Karten von OpenMTBMap.org (openmtbmap.org/de/) gemacht, die wir auf das GPS geladen hatten. Die Karten sind recht zuverlässig und aktuell, kleinere Überraschungen gibt es dann aber doch... Die Räder hatten wir über Fred van der Meer (www.toursandtracksalgarve.com/) ausgeliehen. Start ist in der Hotelzone "Praia de Falesia" von Olhos d'Agua vor dem Porto Bay Falesia. Vorbei am Riu Guarana geht es zunächst abwärts, dann halbrechts bergauf zur Ampelkreuzung, nach Queren der Hauptstraße weiter bergauf und am Ortsende auf Sand-/Schotterstraße Richtung Nachbarsiedlung. Dort quert man eine weitere Hauptstraße und fährt weiter in den Weg, der etwa 50m rechts von der Abzweigung, auf der man die Straße erreicht hat, von dieser in die ursprüngliche Richtung weiterführt. Die Bahnlinie überfährt man über eine neue Brücke, die Nationalstraße quert man im Ort Ferreiras. Von der Brücke aus sieht man übrigens den Bahnhof "Albufeira"-Ferreiras. Weiter führt die Tour auf einer stärker befahrenen Straße - weil die Autobahn A 22 überquert werden muss - um sofort danach nach links abzubiegen. Nun geht es auf Teer und viel Schotter weiter, bis die Unterquerung der IC1 (so eine Art Autobahn) ansteht. Danach bergab und geradeaus weiter - hatten wir uns gedacht. Die angebliche Schotterstraße lag, wenn sie denn vorhanden ist, unterhalb einer Wasserfläche (vmtl. Überschwemmung). Deshalb mussten wir wieder ein wenig zurück und haben dann die Wasserfläche links umfahren, was sich für Vogelfreunde sicher lohnt. Nun ging es zum Bahnhofsplatz von Tunes (dort teilen sich von Lissabon kommend die Bahnlinien nach Lagos und Faro) und dann wieder etwas zurück unter (bei unserer Tour wasserführenden) der Bahnunterführung durch auf die andere Seite der Bahnlinie. Nach einer kleinen Irrung (wir waren zwei Straßen zu früh abgebogen) fand sich dann die Ausfahrt zur Querung der IC1 mit einem nachfolgenden kräftigen Anstieg parallel zu dieser. Nach Erreichen der Höhe entlohnt ein großartiger Ausblick. Man quert dann die M 395 und bleibt auf der Schotterstraße, denn diese führt tatsächlich unter der A 22 durch! So erreicht man die Ortsgrenze von Fontainhas, wo man auch wieder die Bahnlinie auf einer Brücke queren kann. Am anderen Ortsrand wartet die N 125 und gleich danach ein rege befahrener Kreisverkehr, den man zu 3/4 umfährt, um dann wieder in die ruhige Nebenstraße einzubiegen, die langsam in die Strecke des Herwegs einmündet. Kurz vor Olhos d'Agua haben wir dann einen Alternativweg ausprobiert.

The wheels had borrowed we Fred van der Meer (www.toursandtracksalgarve.com/). Home is in the hotel zone quot &, Praia de Falesia & quot; of Olhos d'Agua in front of the Porto Bay Falesia. Passing the Riu Guarana it goes down first, then bear right up the hill to the traffic lights, after crossing the main road uphill and at the end of town on the sandy / gravel road towards neighboring settlement. There, you cross another main road and continue in the path that continues about 50m to the right of the branch on which you reach the road, of this in the original direction. The railway line is about crossing a new bridge, the national road you cross in place Ferreira. From the bridge, one can see the train station & nbsp; & Quot; Albufeira & quot; -Ferreiras. The tour continues on a more traveled road - because the motorway A 22 crosses must - to immediately after turning left. Now it continues on tar and gravel lot, to the crossing under the IC1 (a kind of highway) is present. Then downhill and straight on - we had thought us. Was the alleged gravel road when it is available because, below a water surface (presumably. Flood). Therefore, we had to go back a little and then have the water surface bypass the left, safe for bird lovers worthwhile. Now it went to the station square of Tunes (there share of Lisbon, take the train lines to Lagos and Faro) and then back off under (water-conducting at our tour) train underpass to the other side of the railway line. After a little straying (we were two roads bent too early) took the exit to cross the IC1 with a subsequent sharp rise in parallel to this. Then After reaching the height paid a great view. It then crosses the M 395 and remains on the gravel road, because this leads actually under the A 22 by! How to reach the city limits of Fontainhas, where you can again cross the railway line on a bridge. At the other edge the N 125 and right after a busy traffic circle, the skirts around for three quarters, then again turn into a quiet side street, which opens slowly in the range of Herwegs waiting. Shortly before Olhos d'Agua we tried one alternative path.
