Si parte da Savona Zona Stazione (comoda per il parcheggio) e si risale la valle del Letimbro fino a loc. Lavagnola. Si imbocca in salita via San Nazario poi Via Marmorassi dove una serie di comodi tornanti su strada asfaltata ci permette di guadagnare quota abbastanza dolcemente.
Ad un certo punto la strada spiana e ad un bivio si svolta a destra: iniziano qui pendenze infernali con punte del 26% fino a raggiungere la sterrata di crinale che da Albisola sale verso Naso di Gatto. Svoltiamo a sinistra e risaliamo ancora per qualche centinaio di metri fino a trovare sulla destra, al passo del Crovaro, l'imbocco del Sentiero per Ellera.
Sentiero di discesa veramente divertente!
Raggiunto il fondovalle si scende lungo la SP2 fino a Luceto, si attraversa il torrente sul ponte e si risale andandosi a ricollegare alla parte bassa della strada di crinale già raggiunta in precedenza. Si risale sulla destra per pochi metri e si svolta in piano a sinistra al primo bivio fino a raggiungere l'imbocco del Sentiero Verde, qui riportato in una sua variante nella parte finale.

It starts from Savona Area station (handy for parking) and go up the valley of the Letimbro up to loc. Lavagnola. You take uphill road Via San Nazario then Marmorassi where a series of switchbacks comfortable on paved road allows us to gain height quite gently.
At one point, the road flattens and at a crossroads, turn right: start here infernal slopes with peaks of 26% until you reach the gravel ridge that rises to Albisola Nose Cat. Turn left and go up for a few hundred meters until you find the right pace of Crovaro, the entrance of the Path to Ellera.
Trail downhill really fun!
Reached the valley we descend along the SP2 up to Luceto, cross the river on the bridge and climb andandosi to reconnect to the lower part of the ridge road already reached previously. It dates back to the right for a few meters and turn left at the first floor in the fork until you reach the entrance of the Green Path, shown here in a variation in the final part.
