Die Tour startet am Rande von Rußheim, es kann jedoch von jedem Punkt der Tour begonnen werden, doch in Rußheim bietet sich auch eine Parkmöglichkeit für die, die mit dem Auto anreisen. Breitere Reifen und ein Mountainbike ist empfehlenswert, es kann jedoch auch mit dem Trekkingrad gefahren werden. Es geht 67km über flaches Land, Steigungen gibt es keine, jedoch sollte man etwas Ausdauer mitbringen. Es geht - abgesehen durch Wörth - an keiner viel befahrenen Straße entlang auf ruhigen (Rad-) Wegen entlang. Die Tour ist landschaftlich attraktiv, wobei die schönere Seite der Tour auf der Ostseite des Rheins liegt, die Westseite ist jedoch besser befahrbar. Los geht es mit einem Schwenk durch das kleine Örtchen Rußheim. Wieder am Rhein angelangt bieten sich bis zur Ölraffinerie in Wörth urige Auwaldlandschaften mit Seen, Tümpeln, Altrheinarmen, schattigen Wäldern und großen Wiesen. Die Bodenbeschaffenheit reicht von grobem Schotter, über grasbewachsene Feldwege bis hin zu asphaltierten Radwegen - was aber auf diesem Teil der Strecke eher die Ausnahme bleibt. An der Ölraffinerie angekommen geht es an Karlsruhe Neureut und Knielingen vorbei geradewegs auf die Rheinbrücke Richtung Wörth und auf die Rheinland-Pfälzer Seite zu. Hat man die Karlsruher Industrielandschaft und Wörth hinter sich gelassen, geht es entlang des Rheines auf überwiegend asphaltierten Wegen Richtung Germersheim. Dort angekommen überquert man die Brücke und landet wieder auf der Baden Württemberger Seite der Tour. Noch ein kurzes Stück über die Insel Elisabethenwört und man ist am Ziel angelangt - dem Ausgangspunkt in Rußheim.

The tour starts at the edge of Rußheim, but it can be started from any point of the tour, but in Rußheim is also a parking for those arriving by car. It is - apart from Wörth - at no busy road on quiet (bike) paths along. The tour is scenically attractive, the nicer side of the tour is on the east side of the Rhine, the west side is better but passable. It starts with a swing through the small town Rußheim. Once back on the Rhine offer themselves up to the oil refinery in Wörth quaint floodplain landscapes with lakes, ponds, old Rhine poor, shady forests and large meadows. The soil texture ranges from coarse gravel, over grassy dirt roads to paved bike paths - but what in this part of the route remains the exception. Once at the oil refinery it goes to Karlsruhe Neureut and Knielingen past straight to the Rhine bridge direction Wörth and the Rhineland-Palatinate page. Once past the Karlsruhe and Wörth industrial landscape behind it, it goes along the river on mostly paved roads to Germersheim. Once there, cross the bridge and end up back on the Baden Württemberg side of the tour. A short distance on the island Elisabethenwört and one has arrived at the destination - the starting point in Rußheim.
