Der schwierigste Teil von der Tour ist von Arles-sur-Tech bis Corsavy. Deshalb am bestens mit dem Tour in Amélie-les-Bains anfangen, um sich bis Arles-sur-Tech aufwärmen zu können.Im Sommer kann es sehr Heiß sein. Am bestens sehr früh am Vormittag fahren. Der Tour ist nur für Mountainbikes geeignet, da der Teil zwischen der „col de Descarga“ und „col de Palomère“ ein Schotterweg ist (siehe Photos). Es gibt leider kein Umweg. Der Tour bietet ein sehr schönen Sicht auf der Canigou Gipfel (2784 m). Im Sommer wird er nicht mehr wie auf das Photo mit Schnee bedeckt. Wer bis Amélie-les-Bain mit dem Auto fährt, kann auf die rechte Seite vom Fluss („le Tech“) in der „boulevard de la petite Provence“ kostenlos parken. Dann Richtung Arles-sur-Tech fahren, der Ort ganz durchfahren, und rechts Richtung Corsavy abbiegen. Durch Corsavy fahren, dann weiterfahren durch der "Forêt domaniale du Haut Vallespir" bis der der „col de Descarga“, . Dort rechts Abbiegen. Man ist oben, wenn die „tour de Batère“ erreicht wurde. Das steigen dauer etwa 3 Stunden. Es lohnt sich, vom Fahrrad auszusteigen, um am Fuss vom Turm zu steigen. Danach Richtung „col de Palomère“ runterfahren (Vorsicht: der Weg ist für den PKW Verkehr freigegeben, es können Fahrzeuge entgegen fahren!). Ab dort ist man wieder auf einer Asphaltierte Straße. Durch „La Bastide" fahren. Im „col Xatard“, rechts Richtung „Amélie les Bains“ fahren
