Die Aueralm ist wegen der Nähe zu München und des leichten Aufstiegs vom Tegernsee und Lenggries ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel an Wochenenden. Da ganzjährig geöffnet und nicht so hoch gelegen, ist die Hütte für eine Tour zum Saisonstart bestens geeignet. Tourbeschreibung Von Lenggries fährt man zunächst auf der Straße Richtung Steinbach. Dort biegt man rechts auf einen Forstweg ab und folgt stets der Beschilderung zur Aueralm. Die Steigung ist über 11 km sehr moderat, bis die Forststraße zum Karrenweg wird. Dort wird es richtig steil und man muss das Bike stellenweise schieben. Bei ca. km 13 hat man die Aueralm erreicht. Wenn es dort zu voll ist, was an Wochenenden gerne der Fall ist, bietet sich die Neuhütten Alm als Ausweichmöglichkeit an, die nach kurzer Fahrt auf der Strecke liegt. Bei der Neuhütten Alm biegt man links ab und fährt immer Richtung Hirschsattel. Nach Kurzem erreicht man einen Steig Richtung Lenggries wo das Bike ein paar Meter bergab getragen wird. Hier steht dann ein komfortabler Forstweg für die Abfahrt nach Hohenburg bereit. In Hohenburg fährt man dann rechts auf Teerstraße die letzten 2 km zurück zum Startplatz nach Lenggries. Rastmöglichkeiten Aueralm Neuhütten Alm Fazit Bis auf wenige Steilstücke gemütliche Fahrt auf guten Forstwegen Kurz vor der Aueralm muss geschoben werden Gemütliche Rastmöglichkeit auf der Aueralm und der wenig frequentierten Neuhütten Alm Landschaftlich nicht mit Karwendel oder Rofan vergleichbar, dafür kürzere Anfahrt Die Tour lässt sich auch gut andersrum fahren, wodurch man sich ein paar Schiebepassagen bergauf spart
The Aueralm is a popular destination on weekends because of its proximity to Munich and the slight rise from the Tegernsee and Lenggries.
