Arcinota località per i bikers varesini, il Monte Martica (la Martica per i locals) si sale da Varese, lungo il vecchio tracciato della Linea Cadorna. La strada è a pendenza quasi costante, quasi sempre fecilmente pedalabile eccetto qualche tratto un pò più sconnesso. Dall'alto il panorama è ottimo (stamane nebbia). Meglio salire e scendere in condizioni asciutte (per il grip), anche se la si percorre tutto l'anno. T a s s a t i v a m e n t e vietato scendere sulla strada militare, altrimenti ci si perde tutto il divertimento!!
La traccia qui sopra prevede una discesa in mezzo ai boschi, seguendo uno dei numerosi sentieri presenti sulle pendici della montagna. Io stamattina sono andato con un local buon conoscitore dei percorsi...che è un gran vantaggio!

Very well known places for bikers Varese, Mount Martica (the Martica for locals) go up from Varese, along the old route of the Linea Cadorna. The road is almost constant slope, almost always fecilmente pedaled except some stretch a little disjointed. From the top the view is great (morning fog). Better get on and off in dry condition (for the grip), even if one follows the whole year. T assativamente forbidden to descend on the military road, otherwise you'd lose all the fun !!
The track above provides a descent through the woods, following one of the many trails found on the slopes of the mountain. This morning I went with a good local knowledge of the routes ... which is a great advantage!
