Start- und Zielpunkt für diese schöne Tour ist der Schützenplatz in Goslar. Von dort durch die Altstadt, grobe Richtung Bahnhof, und dann Richtung B 82, diese überqueren. Jetzt sollte man sich auf dem Schieferweg befinden. Nun Richtung Granestausee, ca. 300m hinter der letzten Behausung links rauf auf den Steinberg. Grobe Richtung: immer hinauf. Vom Steinberg mit seinem Aussichtsturm wieder runter Richtung Hessenkopf. Nach ca. 1,5 km kommt man an einen Parkplatz bzw. Spielplatz, hier führen 2 Wege rechts hinunter zum Stausee. Der erste war gesperrt, also den zweiten nehmen. Die Abfahrt ist etwa 1,4 km lang und dann ist man auf dem Asphaltweg der um den Stausee führt. Auf diesem leicht ansteigenden Weg ca. 4 km bleiben. Dann tauchen 3 Wege vor uns auf, man nehme den mittleren und hole tief Luft, denn: steil ist geil. Oben angekommen ist man in Hahnenklee. Wer Rast machen möchte kann dieses an der Stabkirche oder im Kurpark tun. Von der Kirche aus weiter Richtung Bockwiese; Danach fängt ein sehr schöner Trail entlang des Grumbach an, der dann hinter dem gleichnamigen Teich am kleinen Wasserfall endet. Hier einige Stufen hinauf tragen und weiter geht´s in rauschender Fahrt durchs Grumbach bergab zum (Ort) Wildenmann. Im Ort gleich die erste Strasse rechts hoch, nach 650 m bekommt man einen schönen Blick auf den Ort. Weiter geht’s bergauf, am nächsten Abzweig halten wir uns rechts und genießen wieder das Biken durch die Natur. Man fährt nun auf der gegenüberliegenden Grumbachtalseite 40 m über dem Talgrund wieder in das Tal hinein und kommt zurück zum Grundbachteich, der dann halb umrundet wird. Am Zulauf des Teichs hält man sich rechts und folgt dem Weg bis zur Strasse. Hier halb links über die Strasse, dann wieder links halten und nach 360 m rechts 90 Grad abbiegen und dem Weg links herum leicht bergauf folgen. Nach einer großen, leicht steigenden Linkskurve nun den leicht abschüssigen Höhenweg ca. 600 m folgen. Bei der 5 ten Wegeinmündung leicht links halten, nach 300 m rechts und weiteren 300 m dann geradeaus. 230 m später kommt man auf eine 6-Wege-Kreuzung, hier halb rechts fahren und 340 m folgen dann rechts abbiegen. Diesen auf fast gleicher Höhe laufenden Weg nun 1300 m folgen. Der Weg fällt nun immer steiler zum Stausee ab. Nach einigen scharfen Kurven und einer linken Spitzkehre (rechts Hütte) geht’s in zügiger Fahrt weiter bergab. An der nächsten Kreuzung geht es spitz rechts herum. Danach kommt man auf den asphaltierten Weg welcher um den Stausee führt. Diesem hinter die Staumauer folgen. Wer mag kann die Tour auch hier enden lassen, indem man nach links am Hang ca. 1,5 km bis zur Eisenbahn rollt und dieser dann rechts Richtung Goslar um den Berg folgt. Andere, die noch was fürs Wadel tun wollen halten sich rechts und fahren ca. 2,7 km am Stausee entlang, biegen links ab und kommen oben am Nonneberg (Parkplatz/Spielplatz) aus dem gesperrten Weg wieder heraus. Dieser Weg ist recht steil und ausgewaschen, daher Wahrscheinlich die Sperrung von oben. Wer nun nicht mehr mag nimmt einen Weg bergab und kommt nach Goslar. Die, die noch Zeit und Power haben, nehmen sich noch den Bocksberg (727m) vor. Dazu geht’s erstmal die Straße etwas runter und nach 130 m rechts in den Fahrweg. Diesem 2 km folgen dann links bis zur Kreuzung, dort geradeaus. Weiter bergauf folgen, vor der Strasse erst rechts dann gleich wieder links, den Weg immer rauf bis zur alten Harzstrasse, hier rechts auf Teer bergauf zum Bocksberg. Oben ein nettes Alkoholfreies Weizen zischen und dann die Abfahrt bis Goslar genießen. Beides ist ein Genuss.

Start and end point for this beautiful tour is the State Museum in Goslar. From there through the old town, rough towards the station, and then to B 82, cross it. Now you should be on the Schieferweg. Now Granestausee direction, about 300m behind the last habitation left up to the Steinberg. General direction: always up. Back down towards Hessenkopf from Steinberg with its watchtower. After about 1.5 km you come to a car park or playground, here perform two-way right down to the reservoir. The first was locked, so take the second. The exit is about 1.4 km long and then you're on the asphalt road leading to the dam. In this gently rising path remain about 4 km. Then dip 3 ways in front of us, we'll take the middle and take a deep breath, because: steep is cool. Once at the top you are in Clausthal. Who wants to take a break can do this on the stave church or in the park. From the church continue towards Bock meadow; Then a very nice trail along the Grumbach begins, which then ends behind the same pond at the small waterfall. Here, take some steps and on we go in rushing downhill ride through Grumbach to (place) wild man. In the village take the first road right up, after 650 m you get a nice view of the town. We continue uphill, the next junction bear right again and enjoy biking through the countryside. It now moves to the opposite Grumbachtalseite 40 m above the valley floor back into the valley and comes back to the basic stream pond, which is then semi-circled. At the inlet of the pond, keep right and follow the path to the road. Here half left on the road, then turn left and after 360 m turn right 90 degrees and easily follow the path around to the left uphill. After a large, slightly rising left-hander now the gently sloping mountain trail follow about 600 m. Hold at the 5 th road opening slightly to the left, after 300 m turn right and another 300 meters straight ahead. 230 m later you get to a 6-way intersection, bear right go here and follow 340 m then turn right. This running on almost the same level way now follow 1300 m. The path now drops more steeply from the reservoir. After a few sharp turns and a left hairpin (right hut) It's a speedy journey downhill. At the next crossing turn sharp right around. Then you get to the paved road that leads to the reservoir. This is followed behind the dam. If you like can be end the tour here by the slope approximately 1.5 km to the train rolls to the left and then turn right towards Goslar this follows the mountain. Others who want to do something for Wadel keep right and drive about 2.7 km along the reservoir, turn left and go up the mountain nun (car park / playground) from the locked way out again. This trail is quite steep and washed out, so probably blocking from above. Who now no longer likes takes a path downhill and comes to Goslar. Those who do not have time and power to make even the goat mountain (727m). For this purpose, it is first the road down a bit and after 130 m turn right into the driveway. This 2 km then follow the links to the crossroads, continue straight. Continue to follow uphill, before the road until right then immediately left, the path is always up to the old resin Street, right onto tar uphill to the mountain goat. Top hiss a nice alcoholic wheat and then enjoy the descent to Goslar. Both are a delight.
