Die Tour startet man am besten am Aldi in der Böttgerstraße in Ilmenau. Von dort aus geht es ins Stadtzentrum von Ilmenau und weiter nach Ilmenau-Roda. Auf dem Radwanderweg geht es dann nach Elgersburg und auf Asphalt hinauf zum Mönchshof. Hier fährt man weiter Richtung Schmücke bis zu den Zwei Wiesen, und dann Richtung Ilmradwanderweg. An diesem angekommen geht es weiter nach Stützerbach und hinauf zum Auerhahn.Hier geht es weiter zum Hotel Gabelbach und fahren weiter zum LIndenberg, wo man seit Kyrill einen schönen Blick auf Ilmenau hat. Nach einen schnellen Abfahrt geht es wieder zurück zum Aldi.
