Trail-freaks aufgepasst: 2400Hm bergab, überwiegend S3 (S4/S5 Stellen). Einer der längsten, und schwierigsten Trails der Insel: Mit dem Shuttle (ausnahmsweise) rauf zum Roque de los Muchachos (2426m). Die erste Hürde ist geschafft, wer nicht ins Taxi kozt. Nach ausgiebigem Panorama aufsaugen, "protection" und nach kurzer Straßenfahrt (oberer Teil des GR131 wird von Rangern "überwacht") geht es los: Anfangs noch leicht wellig, später nur noch bergab. Die ersten 500Hm meist auf losem Geröll, sehr steil und grob (S3, S5 Stelle). Es folgen etwa 1000Hm feinster Singletrail: Spitzkehren, Stufen und Flowabschnitte in einer Traumlandschaft. Weiter Unten wird der Trail dann wieder grob: Felsen und Geröll im Wechsel (S3). Nach einer stärkung im Mirador del Time folgt ein letzter Abschnitt (S2-S3) über den GR130 hinunter in den "Barranco de las Angustias". Wer will und kann fährt den GR131 zu Ende bis nach Tazacorte (Spitzkehren an der Steilwand oberhalb von "Puerto Tazacorte" - bitte Vorsicht, ein/zwei Kehren erlauben sicher KEINEN Fehler (S3)). Meinem Ghost AMR plus lector hat die Tour im Gegensatz zu mir sicher nicht so gut gefallen. Die Tour geht schon gewalltig auf´s Material, und das trotz meiner <70kg! Wer auf S3-Trails nicht zurecht kommt, bzw. nur per Zufall am Rad bleibt, sollte die Tour besser unterlassen. PS: Wer die Touren gefahren ist, kann bitte eine kleine Bewertung abgeben, das Hilft anderen enorm!
