Trail Description

Beautiful Transalp training tour around the Zugspitze. The Tour corresponds to the Moser Bike Guide. It starts right at the ski stadium in Garmisch, goes first direction Eibsee, circling it and then go up to the Hochtörlehütte. Here is a quick sliding distance of perhaps 200m. From the cottage on paved road down to Ehrwald and then steeply up to the Ehrwalderalm. Who wants to save forces here can also take the cable car. Now comes the comfortable part. Follow the Leutascher Ache on cute ways until shortly before Mittenwald. Here in the great curve left towards Lautensee, Ferchensee, Elmauer castle. On Elmauer lock left direction Wamberg and sometimes quite steeply to Wamberg inn. The descent is only for experienced mountain bikers with good brakes. It's on a gravel trail with large rain processes steeply down towards Garmisch (25%). An alternative is to the left of the last long uphill direction Skistadion drive (WP LI VAR INS).
