Dal bivio di Abetemozzo si prosegue su asfalto fino a Rocca S.Maria. Dopo il bar sulla destra verso San Biagio. Piacevole passeggiata anche con tempo piovoso, il fondo è ottimo.
Si sale sempre su carrareccia per poi scendere al bivio di Leofara.
Da qui verso destra per Macchia da Sole dopo 150 mt circa ancora a destra per Piano Maggiore. La strada sale comoda, dapprima su asfalto poi sterrata. Si incontra un rifugio poi un tornante, si prosegue per circa 200 mt. poi a sinistra per una sterrata che scende ripida.
15 Km di discesa per un dislivello di 1000 Mt. Attenzione ci sono alcuni tratti impegnativi!!
Arrivati sulla SS81 si procede direzione Teramo.

From the junction of Abetemozzo continue on the asphalt until Rocca Santa Maria. After the bar on the right towards San Biagio. Pleasant walk even with rainy weather, the bottom is excellent.
Always rises onto the track and then down to the junction of Leofara.
From here to the right to blot from the Sun after about 150 m turn right again for Piano Maggiore. The road climbs convenient, first on asphalt and dirt. You meet a shelter then a bend, continue for about 200 meters. then left on a dirt road that descends steeply.
15 km of descent for a drop of 1,000 Mt Warning, there are some challenging sections !!
Once on SS81 we proceed towards Teramo.
