Trail Description


Die Tour führt durchs Neißetal, vorbei am Kloster St. Marienthal zum kürzlich gefluteten Berzdorfer See. Weiter geht es vom Hochwasser am 7.08.2010 zerstörten Witkastaussee. Über versteckte Wege in Polen und Tschechien geht es zurück zum Kristynasee, an der Grenze zu Deutschland. Lohnenswert ist ein Blick in den Braunkohletagebau nach Trzciniec Dolny.

The tour leads through Neißetal, past the monastery of St. Marienthal to the recently flooded Berzdorfer lake. It continues from the flood on 08/07/2010 Witkastaussee destroyed. About hidden way in Poland and the Czech Republic goes back to Kristynasee, on the border with Germany. It is worth taking a look at the lignite mine after Trzciniec Dolny.
