Bunyola, Steineichenwald, Mallorca Eine sehr schöne Tour mit traumhafter Aussicht über Palma. Die Tour gehört zu einer der schönsten Touren, die ich auf der Insel 2010 gefahren bin. Breite Schotterwege zum Hochfahren und als Abfahrt eine schöner, sportlicher Downhill. Auf der Landstrasse Ma-2040 von der Autobahn kommend, biegen wir nach dem Ortschild „Bunyola“ in die zweite Strasse rechts ein und parken dort. Hier geht es im ersten Teil der Tour auf einer Asphaltstrasse in Serpentinen bergauf. Später geht der Untergrund in Schotter über. Nach 6 km kommt man an eine Gabelung mit einem Hinweisschild zum "Cas Carriguer" oder "Casa Forrestal" und folgt dem Weg rechts hinauf durch ein Tor zum "Penyal de Honor". Die Profis unter uns, für die kein Downhill steil genug sein kann, erwartet hier nach ca. 1,5 km ein knackiger Singletrail hinunter. Wir fahren den Weg durch den wunderschönen Steineichenwald zwar hoch (siehe Auszeichnung), kehren aber aus Sicherheitsgründen wieder um, da es an diesem Tag regnete und die Steine entsprechend glatt waren. Am Tor folgen wir jetzt dem Weg nach links weiter bis zu einem Rastplatz. Hier trifft man auch wieder auf den Downhill vom Penyal de Honor. Nun beginnt für uns der fahrbare Teil des Trails durch eine Schlucht hinunter nach Bunyola. Immer wieder trifft man auf Gatter, die geöffnet und wieder geschlossen werden müssen. Im unteren Teil der Tour kommt man an einem in den Felsen eingebauten Haus vorbei. Als Pause eignet sich das Cafe mitten im Dorf an der Ecke. Bunyola ist ein schönes kleines Dörfchen mit einem Bahnhof. Der "Rote Blitz" macht dort auch Halt. Den Tourenvorschlag haben wir von www.vamos24.de bekommen.

Bunyola, oak forest, Mallorca A very nice tour with fantastic views over Palma. The tour is one of the best tours I've driven on the island in 2010. Width dirt roads to boot up and exit as a beautiful, sporty downhill. On the road Ma-2040 from the highway, we turn to the local Child & bdquo; Bunyola & ldquo; in the second right and park there. Here it goes uphill on a paved road switchbacks in the first part of the tour. Later, the ground turns into gravel. After 6 km you come to a junction with a sign for the & quot; Cas Carriguer & quot; or & quot; Casa Forrestal & quot; and follow the path right up through a gate to the & quot; Penyal de Honor & quot ;. The professionals among us, for no downhill can be steep enough to expect here after about 1.5 km a crisp single trail down. We take the path through the beautiful oak forest, although high (see award), but return due to security reasons again, because it was raining that day and the stones were according smooth. At the gate we now follow the path to the left, passing a picnic area. Here we meet again on the downhill from Penyal de Honor. Now begins for us the mobile part of the trail through a canyon and down to Bunyola. Again and again one encounters gate that must be opened and closed again. In the lower part of the tour you will pass a built into the rock house. As a break, the Cafe is located in the village on the corner. Bunyola is a lovely little village with a train station.
