Partendo da Merano si arriva, attraverso il passo del Rombo, fino al ghiacciaio del Similaun ad oltre 3000 m , a pochi passi dal luogo di ritrovamento della famosa mummia Ötzi. Il panorama è incredibile e la sensazione di passare sul ghiacciaio con la bicicletta anche. Impegnativa ma fantastica la discesa verso la val Senales. Data la durezza del giro, lo si può suddividere in due o più giorni, dormendo in uno dei vari rifugi lungo il percorso
