Trail Description


Eine MTB-Rund um die Croda Ciamin, die in keinem Tourenbuch eines MTB-Fahrers fehlen darf! Sie ist schon Dutzendmal beschrieben worden, hier nur zur Ergänzung eines Tourenberichts der Bergbeisser Tittmoning. Besonderheiten: Faneshütte, steile Auffahrt Limojoch, Wasserfälle am Ende des Fanestals, Senneshütte, extrem steile Abfahrt auf Betonserpentinen nach Pederü. Wir begannen zum gemütlichen Warmwerden und Einrollen die Runde am Ortsende von St. Vigil, da wir den Weg von Montal dorthin schon vom Tag vorher kannten. Ab Pederü (parken kostet hier 5 Euro) Schotterauffahrt mit Strecken auch zum Ausruhen zur Faneshütte, der Cappuccino ist dort Pflicht! Weiterfahrt (oder zum Teil wegen steilem Schotter schieben) zum Limojoch. Nun Abfahrt im Valle die Fanes bis zu einem Rastplatz, der Besuch der Wasserfälle darf nicht ausgelassen werden! Dann bei ca. 1380 m links ab eine kleine Abkürzung, schmale Brücke und man erreicht die für Kfz gesperrte Teerstraße zur Alpe Ra Stua. Ab der Alpe Schotterstraße, die immer steiler wird, nur selten werden Radfahrer den steilen Anstieg im Sattel bleiben können. Einkehr in der Senneshütte, dort sind die Mühen des Anstiegs vergessen, ab jetzt geht’s im Prinzip mit nur kurzen Gegenanstiegen nur noch bergab. Die letzten Serpentinen vor der Pederühütte und somit vor dem Tal haben es in sich, bei Nässe dürften sie sehr gefährlich werden. Ab Pedrü nun die 10 km auf der Straße zurück zum Auto oder aber wie ein Teil unserer Gruppe auf dem Wanderweg, ein Singletrail der Sonderklasse zwischen den Bäumen. Aber nur abends, wenn keine Wanderer mehr unterwegs sind! Angaben laut GPS und VDO-Tacho: 1790 Hm, 5 ¼ Std. in Bewegung, 2 ½ Std. Pausen, 53 km, max. Steigung 29 %

A MTB Around the Croda Ciamin that may be missing in any one MTB rider tour book! It has been already described dozen times, only to complement a tour report of mountain loach Tittmoning. Special features: Fanes Hut, steep driveway Limo Pass, waterfalls at the end of Fanestals, Senne hut, extremely steep downhill on concrete serpentine Pederü. We started getting warm and cozy to curl round on the outskirts of St. Vigil, since we already knew the way of Montal there from the day before. From Pederü (park here costs 5 euros) gravel road with routes also to rest the Fanes Hut, the cappuccino is there duty! Continue (or push in part because of a steep gravel) for Limo Pass. Now exit in the Valle Fanes up to a rest area, a visit to the waterfalls should not be missed! Then, at about 1380 m left a small shortcut, narrow bridge and we reached the paved road closed to car to Alpe Ra stua. From the Alpe gravel road gets steeper, rarely cyclists are the steep increase can stay in the saddle. Refreshments in the Senne hut, there are the efforts of the increase forgotten now goes & rsquo s basically with only short ascents all downhill. The last switchbacks before Pederühütte and thus before the valley have it in them, in the wet they are likely to be very dangerous. From Pedrü now the 10 km on the road back to the car or as a part of our group on the trail, a single trail in a class between the trees. But only at night, when no more hikers travel!
