Lesachtal: Birnbaum-Grifitz-Motalpe-Trail nach Liesing: Die Tour führt anfangs über die sehr steile Gemeindestraße Richtung Kornat. In einer Rechtskehre sieht man schon die Wegweiser Richtung Griffitz. Über den anfangs noch etwas steilen Forstweg, welcher nach kurzer Zeit relativ flach wird, geht es Richtung Grifitz. Am Grifitz geht es über den alten teilweise sehr steilen Weg in Richtung Nordwesten. Die unglaubliche Landschaft des Lesachtals kann man unter folgenden Tourenlinks nachschauen xxx und yyy (war bei Schlechtwetter unterwegs). Der Forst- bzw. Karrenweg wird in weiterer Folge zu einem Wanderweg , welcher anfangs leicht steigend und anschließend leicht fallend am Lumkofel vorbeiführt. Wenn man zu zwei Jagdhütten kommt fährt man genau dazwischen durch in den Trail Richtung Liesing. In den ersten 100ten m muss man noch kleine Steigungen überwinden und dann beginnt wohl einer der schönsten mir bekannten Trails im Lesachtal (muss jedoch zugeben, dass ich noch nicht all zu viele kenne). In der Abfahrt muss man ständig mit Wurzelteppichen, Stufen und Steinen sowie manchmal auch Engstellen rechnen. Bei trockenen Verhältnissen ist die Abfahrt sicherlich ein Traum. Ich musste mich leider bei Schlamm und Matsch die Wurzeln runter stürzen. Meinen kurzen Abstecher auf Asphalt (wollte einen alten Steig weiterfahren, laut Einheimischen kann man den aber nicht mal mehr begehen) sollte man sich sparen und gleich geradeaus weiterfahren. Der Einstieg in den Schlusstrail ist etwas schwer zu finden – einfach dem Track folgen. In Liesing angekommen geht es über die Bundesstraße zurück. Fazit der Abfahrt: Sollte jeder mal befahren haben, Daumen hoch , unbedingt empfehlenswert! Die Schwierigkeit der Abfahrt bewerte ich für mich mit 3. Ein echtes muss für ambitioniert All Mounter die es abwärts gerne krachen lassen.
