Italienisch: Si parte da Cividale del Friuli seguendo la Valle del Natisone fin quasi al valico di Stupizza. Alla località di Loch si abbandona la strada principale prendendo la salita a dx verso Mersino. in salita si toccano piccole e sperdute frazioni che costituiscono le località di Mersino Basso e Mersino Alto. Da Medves inizia un tratto di strada asfaltata solo quest'anno (2006) che porta alla località di Montemaggiore (ai piedi del Matajur, quindi salita inedita e terza strada per salire). Si discende quindi fino a Cepletischis e si entra in Slovenia raggiungendo Livek. Quì si lascia la strada principale e si volge a dx verso l'indicazione Kuk. Per una decina di km si sale, a dx l'Italia e la zona di Drenchia, a sx la valle dell'Isonzo (Soca in sloveno), sullo sfondo la mole del M.Nero. Si rientra in Italia attraverso il remoto valico di Passo Solarie (possibilità di ristoro). Con una veloce discesa si raggiunde la strada "panoramica di Drenchia", di volge a sx e dopo qualche km la si abbandona girando di nuovo a sx per raggiungere Clabuzzaro. Fino a questo punto la strada era percorribile anche con la bicicletta da corsa. Ora inzia lo sterrato, quindi terreno da MTB...dapprima in discesa abbastanza tortuosa si raggiunge le valle e la vista del fiume (lo iudrio) che segna anche il confine con la Slovenia. La strada continua in mezzo a un fittissimo bosco (ad eventuali biforcazioni prendere sempre a sx). Man mano che si procede il terreno diviene più agevole. Le difficoltà terminano a ponte Clinaz (sentiero naturalistici Clabuzzaro-ponte Clinaz), poco dopo riprende l'asfalto...Si segue tutta la Valle dello Iudrio. a dx scendono strade provenienti da remote frazioni, a sx la stradadel "valico di molino vecchio". Prima di raggiungere Prepotto si volge decisamente a dx e si supera il breve "valico della Bucovizza" per rientrare velocemente a Cividale del Friuli.
