E' un itinerario di grande soddisfazione che alterna sentieri, mulattiere e strade forestali, con viste stupende verso tutta la parte ovest dell'isola e verso la Corsica. Non si potrà dimenticare facilmente il sentiero che va da Serraventosa fino al Troppolo e poi scende a Chiessi. Molto bella anche la salita lastricata della via Crucis
VARIANTI
1) Per arrivare alla “via Crucis” sopra Marciana, si può seguire la strada indicata nell'itinerario
S. ILARIO-POMONTE, con maggior dislivello ma molto panoramica.
2) Dopo l'inzio della discesa verso Chiessi, seguire a dx il sentiero per il Semaforo con bella vista sulla Corsica, poi tornare indietro sullo stesso sentiero.
3) Da Chiessi a Fetovaia si può seguire la strada asfaltata o la bella ciclabile sterrata segnata con cartelli in legno
CONSIGLI
Attenzione al sentiero che scende verso Chiessi, con tratti molto tecnici e ripidi, affrontarlo solo se in possesso di una buona tecnica di guida in discesa e con bici adeguate

It 'a journey of great satisfaction that alternates paths, mule tracks and forest roads, with stunning views across to the west side of the island and Corsica. You will not easily forget the path that goes up to Serraventosa Troppolo and then drops to Chiessi. Very nice also the cobbled climb of the Cross
VARIATIONS
1) To get to the "Via Crucis" Marciana above, you can follow the path indicated in the itinerary
S. ILARIO-POMONTE, with a greater difference in height but very scenic.
2) After the BEGINNING of the descent towards Chiessi, follow the right path for the traffic light with beautiful views of Corsica, then back along the same path.
3 ) From Chiessi in Lacona you can follow the road or the beautiful dirt path marked with wooden signs
TIPS
Beware of the path down to Chiessi, with sometimes very technical and steep, deal only if in possession of a good driving technique and downhill bike with adequate
