Zu Besuch bei Gustav Thöni     Konditionell schwere Tour, die meist auf Forstwegen verläuft. Einige steile Anstiege verlangen rechten Biss. Die Lage der Ortschaft Trafoi in einem Kessel unterhalb des Stilfserjochs ist überwältigend – rundum wird der Ort von Eisriesen überragt. Es ist die Heimat der Skilegende Gustav Thöni, der in den siebziger Jahren die Skiwelt aufmischte. An den Hängen unterhalb der Furkelhütte erfand er seine revolutionäre Umsteigetechnik. Das klingt nach steilen Hängen, und so ist es auch. Daher wird die Runde um Thönis Heimatort gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gefahren: Die Skipiste lässt sich so als Abfahrt genießen. Alternativ könnte man auch den ersten Anstieg von Prad nach Trafoi auf Asphalt angehen. Wer dann die Sesselbahn hinauf zur Furkelhütte nimmt, verkürzt den konditionellen Anspruch der Runde um immerhin 620 Höhenmeter. Doch so oder so: Von der Furkelhütte und der Lichtenberger Scharte aus betrachtet, scheint der Ortler zum Greifen nah, und die Blicke ins Suldental werden über so manch harten Anstieg hinwegtrösten.   Route Prad – Lichtenberg – Schartalm – Pascht – Fragges – Prader Alm – Furkelhütte – Trafoi – Gomagoi – Prad

Visiting with Gustav Thöni & nbsp; Conditionally difficult tour, which runs mostly on forest roads. Some steep climbs require right bite. The location of this place Trafoi in a tank below the Stelvio is overwhelming & ndash; round is the place dominated by ice giants.
