Matscher Raubritter-Tour Genussreiche Panoramatour auf Forst- und Militärstraßen, gewürzt mit einigen leichten Trailabschnitten. Die trutzige Churburg oberhalb von Schluderns, einst Sitz finsterer Raubritter, ist auf dieser Tour ein ständiger Begleiter. Und da die Runde in das beschauliche Matscher Tal meist auch viel Zeit zum Durchatmen lässt, können genusssuchende Mountainbiker auch während der Fahrt häufig den Blick auf die Burg genießen. Entspannt geht es von Mals über einen Forstweg hinauf zu den Malettesböden. Dort beginnt ein praktisch ebener Militärweg, der analog zu den Panzersperren auf der Hochebene Plamort als „zweite Verteidigungslinie“ angelegt wurde. Gekämpft wurde hier allerdings nie, und entsprechend friedlich ist die Querung auch heute noch. Auch die Fahrt ins Matscher Tal gestaltet sich als äußerst entspannt, so dass die Einkehr im Glieshof einen willkommenen „Höhepunkt“ der Tour darstellt. Das Finale führt auf einem Forstweg mit kleinen Trailpassagen bis unterhalb der Churburg. Einen besseren und unverstellteren Blick auf das „Dreigestirn der Ostalpen“ mit Ortler, Königsspitze und Zebru lässt sich nirgendwo sonst genießen. Schließlich führt der breite Talradweg über Glurns zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Tour in Mals.
