Trail Description

3-day tour through the great biking area of ??Graubünden! The tour I went in the summer of 2009 with my two companions and was really awesome. Everything happens:. Punchy climbs, descents super, great views, beautiful accommodations, everything your heart desires including great trails !!!!! Day 1: & nbsp; Started 47 km with 1,800 hm we are in Lenzerheide Parpan direction, Chur yoke on to tschiertschen, back up at Ochsenalp, then departure to Arosa. From there we continued toward our destination of the small village Strassberg where we had a really great neighborhood in the Tranquilo. Actually, all to ourselves, nice service, no shower but still really good. On the way there yet went on Litzirüti, long meadow and then the final climb after Strassberg. Day 2: 62 km with about 2300 hm the king stage with three passports !!!! of Strassberg it went right back uphill to the first pass of the day, the Durannapass. From there, first time down towards Davos Dorf, repeatedly interrupted by small gradients and relatively unspectacular. Then we went really took off, and we were faced with the decision to continue despite rain or choose another route, but we wanted to deal with the two passports yet. So it went in the valley very pleasant slope high on tar to Dürrboden to about 2000 hm. Now it started to really wonderful paths and trails! First, with a lot of push up to the Scalettapass 2600 hm (who since on the wheel comes up, respect that really has strength, stamina and technique) but it also works with slide. Reward was now a very nice and not to difficult trail descent into the valley Funtauna, but it meant going back to push uphill to the Keschhütte again on 2600hm. The departure is but then you expect really great, about 1300 hm super great down to Berguen our endpoint for the second day. This way is a little wider, so that the landlord with his quad goes up to the Keschhütte. Good in parts steep, but as I said easy to ride. In Berguen we then had super hospitable hosts, the Hotel Piz Ela! Only recommended for bikers! This day was really long, off we went at 9.00 clock and finished it almost 12 hours later, because we were also, unfortunately delayed by several mudslides, but still an experience. (Note: it is also possible on the Keschhütte to stay, then you have the next day rested almost entirely downhill to drive down to the final climb to Lenzerheide) & nbsp; Day 3: around 34 km away and a great tip of the hosts recover only 800 hm thanks only briefly a few feet high and then a beautiful forest run down towards Filisur. From there it went really relaxed beautiful, rather flat, but still peppered with beautiful paths and trails to deep Castel us then where the last high altitude expected to Lenzerheide. The road was high but still very nice with nice trails. That's it, my / our tour of Graubünden. Have fun tracing and reported as liked it!
