Historische Strassen an der Ahr - Köhler- und Loheweg Die Tour beginnt an der Klön-Ecke und führt das Bachemer Tal entlang zur Lourdes Kapelle. Dort geht es den Teerweg hinauf zum "Unteren Kaiser-Wilhelm Weg". Dieser führt am "Findling" vorbei und weiter zum Eisenweg. Dort bietet sich ein kurzen Abstecher zum "Römischen Gutshof" und zum Buchenrondell an. Weiter geht die Tour zur Florianshütte, dem Anfangspunkt des Köhler- und Lohewegs (Tafel 1). Von dort geht es weiter auf die Höhen von Ramersbach. Doch nach ca. 400m ist es aus mit dem Fahren. Der Feldweg ist steil und geschottert. Das Hinterrad dreht durch. D.h. die letzten 50m zur Höhe ist Schieben angesagt. Auf der Höhe angelangt dient eine kleine Abweichung vom Weg der Erkundung eines kleinen Steinbruchs - leider eingezäunt. Anschließend wird die L83 überquert und es geht entlang eines schönen Feldwegs mit noch schönerer Aussicht bis zu einem Teerweg der nach Ober-Vinxt ins Tal hinabführt. Dort angekommen geht es wieder berauf zur Maisbüschkapelle in Schalkenbach (Tafel 1a). Von hier aus führt der Weg ins Tal des Schalkenbachs und an der anderen Talseite wieder hinauf. Den nächsten Weg rechts nehmend, stellte ich nach ca.200m bergauf fest, war der Falsche. Also zurück zur Abzweigung weiter auf dem richtigen Weg und tatsächlich nach ca 15m ging ein weiterer Weg rechts ab. Aber - eine Überraschung - recht steil nach oben. Mit Schwung die 50m erklommen und ausschnaufen. Der weitere Verlauf des Weges führt ansteigend zum Weiselstein. Leichter gesagt als getan. Die letzten 200m hatten es in sich. 50m waren geschafft, dann hob sich das Vorderrad und aus war der Traum -> Schieben war angesagt. Wenn man den Holzturm auf dem Weichselstein erklommen hat, wird man bei -schönen Wetter- mit einer wunderbaren Aus- und Weitsicht auf die Umgebung belohnt. (Tafel 2) Nach einem kurzen Abstecher nach Waldgut Schirmau, welches man durchfahren muss, um an Tafel 3 zu gelangen, geht es über schöne Wald- und Feldwege zum Stucksberg. Dieser wird halb umfahren. Nachdem man den durch Baumüberhang verdeckten Waldweg, der in das Tal des "Alter Schalkenbach" führt, gefunden hat, geht es weiter am Hang entlang zum Eichen- und Lohschälwald und zur Zwergstrauchheide (Tafel 4 und Tafel 5). Weiter durch Schalkenbach und Unter-Vinxt (Tafel 6) gelangt man zur Feuerwehrschutzhütte. Mit dem Rad gar nicht so einfach, denn die letzten 50m sind doch sehr steil -> Schieben. An der Schutzhütte kann ein Kohlenmeiler bewundert werden. Bergauf geht es durch ein kleines Tal zu einer Stelle an der römischer Erzabbau betrieben wurde (Tafel 9). Nicht mehr weit ist es bis zur Deufelsburg - ein kleiner abgebauter Basaltkegel (Tafel 10) Anstatt nun zum Ausgangspunkt des Köhler- und Lohewegs zur Florianshütte zu fahren - die Tour war lang genug -, führt ein Rechtsschwenk am Ausgang des Waldes zurück quer duch den Wald nach Bachem. Taking the nearest way right, I realized after about 200m uphill fixed, was the wrong thing. So back to the junction continue on the right path and actually after about 15m went another way right. But - surprise - quite steeply upwards. With momentum and climbed ausschnaufen the 50m. The further course of the trail leads uphill to Weisel stone. Easier said than done. The last 200m it had in itself. 50m were done, then lifted the front and from the dream was - & gt; Slide was announced.
