Giro di alta montagna da fare solo nel periodo estivo, inizio dal bivio di Carnino, salita su strada a Upega e poi salendo per il bosco nero, si raggiunge un'area attrezzata, confine con la Liguria.
Da qui una sterrata con tratti decisamente erti, ci fa raggiungere la strada delle Navette che collega Monesi a Limone.
Un lungo tratto, ad altitudini prossime ai 2000 metri, con vista sulla costa, ci fa raggiungere il Passo di Flamalgal, ancora una breve salita, con vista sul Colle del Lago dei Signori, poi si scende per sterrata fortemente dissestata, fino a raggiungere il nuovo rifugio Don Barbera, gestito, per chi lo desidera, è possibile mangiare e bere.
Da qui un primo tratto su sterrata in discesa ci fa raggiungere una malga poi per sentiero attraverso prati, si giunge alla Gola della Chiusetta.
Il sentiero diventa per un breve periodo impraticabile e costringe a scendere dalla bici, poi i più abili, risalgono e su tratti molto tecnici, si giunge al piccolo borgo di Carnino e all'asfalto.
Una breve e veloce discesa ci fa tornare al punto di partenza.
