Von Rheinbach nach Tomburg Die Tour startet in Rheinbach am Parkplatz am Freizeitbad. Von hier geht es erstmal den Feldweg hoch in den Wald, und wir folgen dem breiten Weg leicht rechts. Den Rest muss nun das GPS übernehmen. Die Tour wird gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gefahren. Die Tour führt über Hardt-Sürst, Queckenberg (Madbachtalsperre), Kurtenberg, Todenfeld, Burgruine Wormersdorf und das neue Waldhotel zurück zum Startpunkt in Rheinbach. Bei guter Sicht kann man von der Burgruine aus bis zum Petersberg in Bonn sehen. Als Einkehrmöglichkeit gibt es das WaldEck, Zu den 4 Winden (mit kleinem Biergarten und selbst gemachtem Kuchen) oder im letzten Drittel der Tour das am 01.08.2010 neu eröffnete Waldhotel mit seinem gehobenem Charme, dass mir auch gut gefallen hat. http://www.waldhotel-rheinbach.de/ Die Tour führt größtenteils auf Wald und Feldwegen und hat ein paar schöne Singletrails und Anstiege in sich.

From the Rhine river after Tomburg The tour starts in the Rhine river in the parking lot at leisure. From here all is the dirt road high in the forest, and we follow the wide path slightly to the right. The rest must now take the GPS. The tour is run counterclockwise. The tour takes about Hardt-Sürst, Queckenberg (Madbachtalsperre), Kurt Berg, death field, ruins Wormersdorf and the new forest hotel back to the starting point in the Rhine river. On a clear day you can see from the castle ruins to the Petersberg in Bonn. As Refreshments there Waldeck, to the 4 winds (with a small beer garden and homemade cake) or in the last third of the tour on 01/08/2010 newly opened Forest Hotel with its upscale charm, that I also liked. http://www.waldhotel-rheinbach.de/ The tour mostly on forest and field trails and has some nice singletrack and climbs in it.
