Die Tour startet wie gewohnt in Obersuhl. Weiter geht es in Richtung Libenz. Am ehemaligen US-Point "Romeo" geht es in den Wildecker Forst. Heute war die Strecke wegen (Un)Wettereinflüssen etwas schwieriger. Es lagen zahlreiche Bäume quer und die Strecke war zum Teil durch den Regen mit Geröll zugeschüttet. Aber ich habe es als Herausvorderung angesehen.... Auf Blumenstein war alles wie immer. Weiter geht's zur Waldkreuzung Heiligenstock. Hier massive Unwetterschäden! Sogar das Schild ist weg (Deshalb ein Foto aus dem Archiv). Nun geht es bergab zur Richelsdorfer Hütte und im Anschluss den Bach entlang nach Richelsdorf. In Richelsdorf den Fußgängerweg zur alten Schule und dann weiter über den Historischen Friedhof, den Hof Wetterau die alte Straße entlang bis zur B400. Hier geht es ca. 300 Meter entlang der B400 bis zum Parkplatz. Über den Parkplatz den alten Weg und dann die zweite (!) Möglichkeit rechts ab in Richtung Wald. Auf diesem Waldweg bleiben bis eine große Wiese kommt. Wichtig! über diese Wiese geht's in Richtung Kohlbachtal! Es wird ein wenig feucht - aber immer weiter, sonst kommen die Mücken. Am Ende kommt eine Schützhütte und ein Wegweiser. Immer Geradeaus. An der Kohlbachquelle lohnt sich eine Pause. Kaltes frisches Quellwasser ist genau die richtige Belohnung für die Tour. Nach einer Pause geht es weiter vorbei am Kohlbachhaus, der Bettelbank, unter der Autobahn durch nach Gerstungen. In Gerstungen bin ich über den schönen Vorplatz des Rathauses direkt zum Werratal-Radweg gebiked. Jetzt gehts weiter bis Untersuhl. Hinter der Untersuhler Rundkirche verlassen wir den Werratal-Radweg und fahren zurück nach Obersuhl. Zusammengefasst: Eine herrliche Mountainbike-Tour durch den Wildecker-Forst in Kombination mit einem Abstecher über den historischen Friedhof Richelsdorf in das Kohlbachtal nach Thüringen. Als Belohnung einen ordentlichen Schluck Quellwasser von der Kohlbachquelle. Diese Tour lohnt sich, besonders bei dieser Wärme!!!

& Nbsp; Tour starts as usual in Upper Suhl. Continue in direction Libenz. At the former US-Point & quot; Romeo & quot; it goes in the Wildecker forest. Today the route because of (Un) the weather was a little more difficult. There were numerous trees and across the track was filled in part by the rain with rubble. But I have seen it as Herausvorderung .... On Blumenstein everything was as usual. We continue to Crossing Heiligenstock. This massive storm damage! Even the sign is gone (why a photo from the archive). Now it comes down to Richelsdorfer hut and following the creek along after Richelsdorf. In Richelsdorf the pedestrian walkway to the old school and then continue on the historic cemetery, the court Wetterau the old road to the B400. This is about 300 meters along the B400 to the parking lot. Across the parking lot of the old way and then the second (!) Way right towards the forest. Stay comes to a large meadow on this dirt road. Important! goes through this area's towards Kohlbachtal! It is a little damp - but always on, otherwise the mosquitoes come. At the end comes a contactor hut and a signpost. Always straight. Why not take a break at the Kohlbach source. Cold fresh spring water is just the right reward for the tour. After a break we continue past the Kohlbach house, begging Bank, under the motorway after Gerstungen. In Gerstungen I'm straight to the Werra Cycle Route gebiked over the beautiful courtyard of the town hall. Now you continue to Untersuhl. & Nbsp; after the sub Suhler round church we leave the Werra Valley bike path and go back to top Suhl. In summary: A beautiful mountain bike tour through the Wildecker-forestry in combination with a detour through the historic cemetery Richelsdorf in the Kohlbachtal to Thuringia. As a reward, a gulp of spring water from the creek carbon source. This tour is worth it, especially in this heat !!!
