Start der Tour, die über einen kleinen Teil des Wanderweges Urwaldsteig am Edersee führt, ist der Parkplatz der Seilbahn die vom Schloß Waldeck herunterkommt. Man sollte auf dem Parkplatz schon mal ein paar Runden fahren, weil es direkt vom Start weg nach oben geht. Also erst mal hoch nach Waldeck, dann ein kleines Stückchen bergab einen Singletrail, dann gehts ein Stück am Waldrand entlang bevor es dann in eine Steigung geht, die uns rabiat auf 400 m bringt. Die Belohnung ist ein Wahnsinnsblick auf den Edersee von der Aussichtsplattform "Kanzel". Frisch gestärkt geht es in eine knapp 4km lange Abfhrt, wo man es so richtig krachen lassen kann. Zurück zum Ausgangspunkt geht es dann über die Sperrmauer und am See entlang. Wieder am Parkplatz schrauben wir uns dann auf der anderen Seite in die Berge. Immer auf dem Hangrücken entlang, ordentlich bergauf. Nach einer ca. 800 m langen eine tricky Abfahrt klettern wir zum höchsten Punkt auf dieser Seite und haben eine tolle Aussicht auf die Halbinsel Scheidt. Dann gehts zackig runter bis nach Niederwerbe und von da aus wieder zurück zum Parkplatz. Alles in Allem eine schöne Nachmittagsrunde mit 539Hm´s und einer Länge von 25.3km.

Start the tour that leads over a small part of the trail Urwaldsteig on Lake Eder, is the parking lot of the cable car coming down from the castle of Waldeck. You should already have a ride in the parking lot a few rounds, because it goes straight away from the start up. So first go up to Waldeck, then a little bit of a downhill single track, then goes a bit along the forest before it then goes into a slope that brings us to 400 m rabidly. The reward is a madness overlooking the Lake Eder from the observation deck "pulpit". Invigorated it comes in a nearly 4km long Abfhrt where you can really let it rip. Back to the starting point, it then goes through the dam and along the lake. Back at the parking lot we screw us then on the other side of the mountains. Always on the slope along the back, neat uphill. After an approximately 800 m long a tricky descent, we climb to the highest point on this page and have a great view of the Scheidt peninsula. Then we headed down smartly to Lower advertising and from there back to the parking lot. All in all a nice afternoon session with 539Hm's and a length of 25.3km.
