Beginnend von der Rudelsburg in der Nähe von Bad Kösen geht ein schwieriger MTB Weg ca. 1,5 km bis nach Bad Kösen. Ab hier verläuft der Radweg sehr eben entlang der Saale bis zur Mündung der Unstrut. Hier fährt man entgegen des Flußlaufes bis Freyburg. Die Saale lädt auf Grund des " Blauen Bandes " zum baden ein. Kanus stehen zum Ausleihen in genügend großer Anzahl zu verfügung, so dass man die Radtour zu einer Wassertour umwandeln kann. Die zu durchfahrene Landschaft ist sehr schön. In der nähe der Ortslage Schulpforte, direkt am Radweg gelegen befindet sich das " Fischhaus ". Eine einladende Gaststätte mit freundlicher Bedienung und hervorganden Speisen zu moderaten Preisen. Dienstags ist Ruhetag.

Starting from the Rudelsburg near Bad Kosen is a difficult mountain bike trail 1.5 km to Bad Kosen. From here the cycle path is very flat along the Saale River to the mouth of the Unstrut.
