Von Freiburg geht es nach Kirchzarten, dort den 1. Gang einlegen und rauf auf den Schauinsland. Der Aufsteig ist sehr fair - nur kurze Abschnitte sind recht steil, ansonsten kann man sehr gut einen angenehmen Rhythmus finden. Vom Schauinsland führt der "Westweg" Richtung Feldberg mit wunderbaren Panoramausblicken. Die kleine Runde um und auf den Gipfel des Feldbergs birgt ein paar Schiebestellen - kann man sich sparen, aber der Ausblick vom Feldberg ist der Hammer. Es lohnt sich. Schließlich geht es vom Westweg in Richtung Schluchsee runter, vom Schluchsee relativ ebenerdig zum Titisee und von dort auf der anderen Seite des Kirchzartener Tals wieder auf die Berge und zurück nach Freiburg - auch hier mit tollen Ausblicken, jetzt auf die Gipfel von Schauinsland und Feldberg. Nach dem letzten Gipfel, dem des Hinterwaldkopfes (1180 m) geht es rasant und spaßreich wieder runter nach Kirchzarten, zunächst unbefestigt, später auch auf Teer. Die Tour ist ein Mix aus Waldautobahn, Teer, eher wenig Trails und ganz kurzen Straßenabschnitten.

From Freiburg it comes to Kirchzarten, there engage the 1st gear and pulled up the Schauinsland. Finally, it comes down from the western route towards Schluchsee, from Schluchsee relative ground level to the Titisee and from there on the other side of the church Hinterzarten valley back to the mountains and back to Freiburg - again with great views, now on the summit of Schauinsland and Feldberg. After the last summit, the head of the background forest (1180 m) it is fast and fun reaching back down to Kirchzarten, initially unsecured, and later on tar. The tour is a mix of forest highway, tar, rather little trails and very short road sections.
