Vom Schlossplatz Hohenems durch den Torbogen, nach dem Torbogen gleich über den Emsbach und dann die Emsbachstraße und anschließend Hochquellenstraße entlang. Diese mündet dann in einen teilweise sehr steilen Fahrweg, welcher einiges an kondition voraussetzt. Ab der Kehre wird der Güterweg dann etwas flacher. Auf der Gsohlaple kann man den traumhaften Ausblick über das Rheintal bis zum Bodensee genießen. Von der Gsohlalpe geht es dann einen Güterweg weiter laufend ansteigend bis zur Emser-Hütte. Nach der Emser Hütte steigt es wieder über die Schönenmann-Alpe an, bis man über den Talkessel von Schuttannen wieder einen schönen Blick in das Rheintal hat. Vom höchsten Punkt geht es dann zuerst Güterwege und anschließend auch eine Straße, teilweise sehr steil abfallend nach Emsreute und anschließend die Straße entlang direkt wieder zum Schloßplatz nach Hohenems.

From Palace Square Hohenems through the archway, after the archway just above the Emsbach and then the Emsbachstraße and then along High Street source. This then leads to a partially very steep driveway, which requires a lot of stamina. From the turn of the access road will be a little flatter. On the Gsohlaple you can enjoy the fantastic view over the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance. From the Gsohlalpe it goes one at that junction constantly increasing up to Emser Hut. After Emser hut it rises again over the beautiful man-Alpe, until about the valley of Schuttannen again has a beautiful view of the Rhine Valley. From the highest point it goes first freight routes and then a road, sometimes very steeply sloping to Emsreute and then along the road directly back to the palace square to Hohenems.
