Trail Description


Partenza dal campo sportivo di Borgo-Trevi, primi 6 km pianeggianti. Superato il, si arriva alle; dopo di che la strada inizia a salire.

Al km 10 si lascia l'asfalto per una carrareccia che sale lungo il canalone di Pettino, fino a giungere a 1100 mt al km 16.

Nel paesino di Pettino (frazione di Campello sul Clitunno) è possibile bere sulla fonte che si trova lungo la traccia.

Si continua a salire in direzione Monte Serano, prima su carrareccia, poi su sentiero fino a giungere neiche collegano il Monte Serano al Monte Brunette.

I km in quota sono circa 6: questa è la parte più panoramica del giro, la vista nelle giornate di sole spazia dall'Amiata, al Gran Sasso, ai Sibillini, ai Monti della Laga e al Terminillo.

Arrivati sulla cima del Monte Brunette (1.421 mt) si prende il sentiero veloce e scorrevole che costeggia i prati nella parte est della montagna. Arrivati a circa 1200 mt, dopo una breve salita, si prende un sentiero stupendo di circa 2 km: qui gli amanti della discesa troveranno di tutto: prima il sentiero è su roccia, poi entra in un canalone ripido e tecnico, per poi uscirne e entrare nel bosco dove una serie di curve prima trialistiche poi veloci in appoggio faranno sicuramente divertire chi ama questo tipo di percorsi.

Scesi a Collecchio, dopo una breve risalita a Trevi, si torna alle macchine attraversando il centro storico di Piaggia, con una miriade di scalette e sentieri molto caratteristici.
