War das erste mal in Offenburg dabei und ich muss sagen es hat mir sehr gefallen. Pünktlich um 8 Uhr zum Start kam die Sonne heraus, nachdem es 10 Tage lang immer geregnet hatte. Dementsprechend sah auch die Strecke aus aber ich habe mich gut durch den Schlamm gewühlt. Nach dem Start geht es Stadtauswärts und rein in den Wald so ca. 300hm nach oben und wieder runter. Nach einer Dorfdurchfahrt (Durbach) geht es in die Weinberge eine Anhöhe hoch und dann weiter über Wiesen und Felder. Dann beginnt die Auffahrt zum Mooskopf, teilweise auf dem Kandelhöhenweg (siehe Tour 42159) , am Ende sehr anstrengend über großes Kopfsteinpflaster aber alles gut zu fahren. Die Abfahrt führt nach Gengenbach und dort, als kleines Schmankerl, durch das Rathaus begleitet vom tosendem Beifall. Auch sonst sind einige Zuschauer auf der ganzen Strecke verteil und jubeln den Fahrer zu und treiben sie dadurch an. Die Strecke führt wieder in den Wald durch Reichenbach weiter nach Ebersweier. Jetzt geht es steil den Weinberg hinauf im Rücken eine schöne Burg. Nun die Abfahrt nach Zell-Weierbach und noch einmal im Wald einen Anstieg hoch und runter und weiter wieder Richtung Offenburg. Kleiner Sprint, leider alleine, ab durchs Ziel und dann Kohlenhydrate nachfüllen. Wie am Anfang schon erwähnt sehr gelungene Veranstaltung jederzeit wieder.

The first time was in Offenburg here and I must say I really liked it. Time by 8 clock to start the sun came out after it had rained for 10 days always. Accordingly, the route looked but I have dug myself well through the mud. After starting it goes out of town and into the forest so about 300HM down and up again. After a village transit (Durbach) it goes in the vineyards a high hill and then over meadows and fields. Then turn onto the moss head, partly on the Kandelhöhenweg (see Tour 42159), very tiring but everything to go well in the end over large cobblestones. The descent leads to Gengenbach and there, as a little treat, by the Town Hall accompanied by thunderous applause. There are also some spectators along the entire route Distribution and cheer the driver to drive them to and characterized. The route leads back into the forest by Reichenbach further Ebersweier. Now there is a steep vineyard up in the back a nice castle. Now the descent to cell Weiersbach and again in the forest rise up and down and further back towards Offenburg. Small Sprint, unfortunately alone, from the finish and then refill carbohydrates. As already mentioned at the beginning of a very successful event at any time.
