Si tratta di un itinerario piuttosto corto, ma di grande soddisfazione per i bikers alla ricerca di sentieri impegnativi. Da S. Nicolò si segue il Ultner Hoefeweg, cioè il sentiero dei masi della val d'Ultimo, fino all'incrocio con la forestale 16, che seguiamo in salita lungo una stretta valle. Ad un bivio seguiamo la forestale 12 a sx verso Pichl Alm. Arrivati alla malga, comincia un bel sentiero in piano nel bosco, quasi completamente ciclabile, che aggira la montagna arrivando fino ad una piccola baita. Qui il sentiero si butta improvvisamente in discesa verso la Auerbergalm. Bisogna fare molta attenzione perchè la discesa è molto ripida, con tratti tecnici e tornanti, chi non è abituato a questo tipo di discese dovrà farsela in gran parte a piedi. Arrivati alla malga, con possibilità di ristoro, si scende sulla forestale 18 a sx, e dopo un incrocio, si continua sul sentiero nel bosco che arriva fino a S. Nicolò.

From St. Nicholas, follow the Ultner Hoefeweg, that is the path of the farms of the Val d'Ultimo, to the intersection with Forest 16, we follow uphill along a narrow valley. At a junction 12 follow the forest to the left to Pichl Alm. Arrived to the hut, he begins a beautiful path in the forest floor, almost completely route, which bypasses the mountain coming to a small hut. Here the path suddenly throws down towards the Auerbergalm. You have to be very careful because the descent is very steep, with switchbacks and technical sections, those not accustomed to this type of descents will have it for the most part on foot. Arriving at the mountain pasture, with the possibility of refreshment, go down on 18 forest left, and after an intersection, continue on the path in the woods that goes up to St. Nicholas.
