Was gibt´s schöneres als am Vatertag ins schöne Saarland zu reisen? Nichts, also ab nach Niederlinxweiler. Dunkle Wolken am Himmel. OK, wir fuhren los und bemerkten sofort, diese Tour gehört zu den wirklich schönen Mountainbiketouren im Saarland. Ständiger Wechsel zwischen breiten Waldwegen, traumhaften Singletrails, dichtem Wald und luftigen Höhen. Eine wirklich sehr abwechslungsreiche Tour die der ansässige Verein bestens ausgeschildert hatte. Zu keiner Zeit gab es Probleme mit der Orientierung, so daß wir recht zügig voran kamen. 2 aufmerksame Verpflegungsstellen versorgten uns mit Köstlichkeiten, damit alle gestärkt das auf und ab konditionell überstanden. Nach ca. 2 Stunden waren die Wetterprognosen über den Haufen geworfen und es fing erst langsam, dann aber immer kräftiger an zu regnen. Jetzt verwandelten sich die Wege und speziell die Trails in eine schlammige glitschige Masse die einen echt forderten. So sieht Mountainbiken aus und so muß es sein frohlockten 2 junge Biker die uns einen Teil des Weges begleiteten. Hier war jetzt Technik gefragt. Wir beendeten die Tour mit einem Lächeln auf dem matschverspritzten Gesicht, wuschen unsere Räder, duschten, aßen eine Roschtwurscht (Spezialität) im Saarland und freuen uns schon auf´s nächste Jahr. Hoffentlich ist die Strecke dann trocken, da sollen die Trail´s dann noch mehr Spaß machen. Es war eine tolle Tour, sollte man unbedingt mal gefahren sein. Wir kommen wieder.

What & acute s better than traveling on Father's Day to the beautiful Saarland & nbsp; Nothing, so off to Niederlinxweiler. Dark clouds in the sky. OK, we drove off and immediately noticed, this tour is one of the really beautiful mountain bike tours in the Saarland. Constant changes between wide forest trails, fantastic single trails, dense forests and lofty heights. A really very varied tour of the resident club had well signposted. At no time there were problems with the orientation so that we were progressing quite rapidly. 2 attentive aid stations provided us with delights for all to strengthen the back and survived stamina. After about 2 hours, the weather forecasts were thrown overboard and it started slowly at first, but then raining always strong at. Now the way and especially the trails in a muddy slippery mass transformed the real requested one. This is what mountain biking and so it must have rejoiced two young bikers who accompanied us part of the way. This technology was now in demand. We finished the tour with a smile on his face matschverspritzten, washed our bikes, showered, ate a Roschtwurscht (specialty) in Saarland and look forward to & acute s next year. Hopefully the track is then dry as the Trail & acute to s still more fun. It was a great tour, should be ridden times. We'll be back.
