Diesmal startet die zweite Rheinsteigtour im Siebengebirge und geht bis Unkel und dann am Rhein wieder zurück. Am Marktplatz in Rhöndorf (unterhalb vom Drachenfels) starten wir und fahren hoch in den Wald Richtung Breiberg. Hier erwarten uns die ersten Singletrails bergauf. Am Breiberg vorbei umfahren wir die Löwenburg (Restaurant) und folgen einer super schönen Abfahrt ins Einsiedlertal hinunter. Hier überqueren wir die L144 und steigen wieder in den Singeltrail ein, wo wir zunächst das Bike ein kurzes Stück tragen müssen. Auf dem Schotterweg angekommen, folgen wir diesem bis zum Aussichtspunkt Himmerich. Jetzt kann man den etwas steilen Abstieg machen oder fährt alternativ den Track etwa 500m zurück bis zum Wegpunkt LINKS, der später wieder auf den Track führt. Jetzt geht es überwiegend runter nach Unkel am Rhein. Dort machen wir eine Kaffeepause im „Cafe Knäpper“. Gestärkt geht es dann am Rhein auf einem schwierigen Trail, der teilweise offiziell gesperrt ist, am Rhein bis Bad Honnef und dann auf normale Radwegen weiter bis zu unserem Startpunkt Rhöndorf zurück. Wichtig : Vor dem Campingplatz in Rheinbreitbach geht der Trail am Wegpunkt „Rechts-Li“ leicht rechts und weiter am Rhein entlang !

This time the second Rheinsteig tour starts in the Seven Mountains and goes to Unkel on the Rhine and then back again. At the marketplace in Rhöndorf (below the Drachenfels) we start and go up into the forest towards Breiberg. Here we expect the first single track uphill. On Breiberg past we drive around the Lion's Castle (restaurant) and follow a super nice descent down to Einsiedlertal. Here we cross the L144 and get back into the single trail, where we first have to take the bike for a short distance. Once on the dirt road, we follow this to the viewpoint Himmerich. Now you can make the somewhat steep descent or alternatively moves the track about 500m back to the waypoint LINKS which again leads to the track later. Now it's mainly down to Unkel on the Rhine. There we take a coffee break in "Cafe boulders". Strengthened it goes on the Rhine on a challenging trail that is partially officially closed, on the Rhine to Bad Honnef and then on normal cycle tracks on up to our starting point Rhöndorf back. Important: Prior to the campsite in Rheinbreitbach the trail goes at waypoint "Right Li" slightly right and continue along the Rhine!
