Achtung Tour jetzt geändert! Knackig mit den Trails im Schambachtal oder für den "müden Tag" ohne dieselben! Start am Parkplatz der Reisbergalm in Gaimersheim/Lippertshofen Auf dem Forstweg bleiben bis zum Wegedreieck nahe der Forsthütte. Dort über den Weg in den Trail. Diesem Weg folgen bis zum freien Gelände und beim großen Baum rechts Richtung Nordosten/Böhmfeld bis zur Hauptstrasse zwischen Böhmfeld und Hitzhofen. Diese überqueren und dem Forst- und später Wiesenweg immer im Talgrund folgen. Beim Wegedreick rechts und später bergauf. Jetzt wird´s schwieriger. Oben am Wegedreick angekommen, dieses überqueren und in der Kurve in den "Trail" Dachsteig abbiegen. Die Einfahrt liegt direkt versteckt in der Kurve. Nach dem Trail rechts bergab und wenn man durstig ist gibt´s an jedem Tag außer Montag ein Bierchen im Gasthof Linde (is Pflicht"!""). Nach dem Bierchen wieder über die Brücke und dem Forstweg im Tal folgen. Jetzt den 2ten Weg bergauf wählen (unten gehts in den Rauchenbergsteig, ist aber von dort zu schwierig und schlecht fahrbar). Wenn man noch gut Druck hat, kann man weiter oberhalb in den Trail einfahren und noch mitnehmen). Andernfalls geht es immer weiter bergauf, bis man wieder ans Wegedreick im Wald kommt, jetzt aber bergab und dann im Tal rechts und immer im Tal bleiben. Man kommt dann wieder ins Katzental und bleibt stets auf dem geschotterten Forstweg bis zur Straße und überquert diese. An der nächsten Weggabelung rechts und wieder in südöstlicher Richtung bis zur asphaltieren Fahrstraße vor dem Ort Böhmfeld. Jetzt immer links bergauf halten bis zum Ortsende von Böhmfeld in Richtung Gaimersheim/Ingolstadt. Hier bietet sich eine wunderschöne Aussicht über das Donautal. Bei guter Fernsicht kann man von hier das Wettersteingebirge sehen! Variante Trail. Auf den Fahrradweg rechts von der Straße einbiegen und diesem bis kurz vor dem Reisberg folgen. Vor dem höchsten Punkt (Holzgeländer) rechts in den Waldweg einbiegen und diesem folgen. Nach der kurzen Abfahrt links den Trail bergauf und dem Wurzeltrail bergab. Achtung! Am Schluß der Trailabfahrt wartet ein unerwartetes Steilstück, das teilweise schmierig ist. Bitte hier Vorsicht. At the end of the trail descent awaits an unexpected steep section, which is partially greasy. Please caution here.
