Con partenza da Pontile di Fiuminata si sale sulle pendici del Monte Vermenone ed all’altezza della sella col Monte Linguaro si scende lungo la carrozzabile per Sefro. Dopo 4 tornanti si svolta bruscamente a destra per il sentiero che si inoltra nella stretta Valle dello Scarzito, chiamata Valle dell’Eremita. Il sentiero, lungo circa 3 km, è abbastanza scosceso e con discreta pendenza, è in gran parte scavato sui fianchi rocciosi della stretta valle ed anticamente doveva essere l’unica strada per salire ai monti. Da Sefro si risale il Vermenone, spingendo per quasi tutti i 300 metri di dislivello che separano dal Passo Semegna (900 m.), ma poi ci si può divertire con la discesa per Fiuminata, dapprima facile stradone nei boschi, poi tecnico sentiero roccioso tutto sponde e gradoni.

Departing from jetty Fiuminata climb on the slopes of Monte Vermenone and height of the saddle with Mount Linguaro go down the road to Sefro. After 4 hairpin turn sharply to the right to the path that leads into the narrow valley of the Scarzito called Hermit Valley. The trail is about 3 km long, it is quite steep and discrete gradient is largely excavated on the rocky sides of the narrow valley and in the past had to be the only way to go up to the mountains. From Sefro climb the Vermenone pushing for almost all 300 vertical meters that separate from the Pass Semegna (900 m.), But then you can have fun with the descent to Fiuminata, first easy highway in the woods, then all the technical rocky trail banks and terraces.
