Domenica 28 agosto 2010 tempo nero ed acqua a Codogno ma si parte lo stesso fiducioso che li il tempo sarebbe stato clemente e così è stato. Partiti in direzione Penice asfalto fino a Pietragravina, da li parte un salitone ripidissimo ma sempre asfaltato per qualche km che poi diventa sterrato e salita sulla strada sterrata di costa dell'Alpe per poi ridiscendere a 2km dal Passo Penice, passato il passo in direzione Bobbio al primo tornante subito a destra in uno spiazzo sterrato panormaico che superatolo imboccca il sentiero che gira intorno al monte Penice con panorami bellissimi di boschi selvaggi, funghi di enormi dimensioni e pareti ripide, finito lo sterrato siamo saliti su asfalto vero il passo del brallo e vista l'ora tarda siamo tornati a varzi in una lunga interminabile discesa su asfalto...alla prossima intendo fare anche i tre guadi dopo il penice ma mi servira tutta la giornata
