Trail Description

Beautiful ride that delves into the hills just above the town of Caprino Veronese.
It starts from Affi (at Bicigrill a few meters from the church) and follow the path that runs along the main road until Albaré. Continue to the right, again on a path but leaving the provincial town to Bran and from there to Caprino.
Near the cemetery, over the bike path, you enter the village past the church and take the road to Pesina, abandoning immediately after (200 meters) to go right to Rubiana / Lumini. From here begins the climb, first paved, which will lead us to places Coalini (700 m). The street is lined with gravel and paved communal but with very little traffic, at times harsh and at times sweeter that we offer breathtaking looks attractive.
Once you switch to Coalini the district, past the gate in wire mesh (to put the bikes) and take the "val della Scala", a narrow dirt road follows the river "Tasso" which meanders through real canyons and brings us up to the junction with the main road that goes up to Spiazzi by Caprino, theater the famous hillclimb car manufacturer of the same name.
You take the left, along the main road for about a mile and left behind Castagnara resort, take the path down to the right and to a few tens of meters along the asphalt. After a first more or less level begins to go down a path at times very technical, until you reach the town that the small village of Platano rooms Porcini and Spiazzi.
Back uphill, takes the asphalt that will take us into town Broieschi; abandoned the city down to the right on the asphalt for a few hundred meters. The narrow road forks but we instead take one of two paths to the right (in a concrete, the other dirt but closed to the passage) take the path that goes down to the left towards the valley of South Tyrol.
From here begins the most fun but also the most challenging part of the journey: in fact after 3-4 switchbacks the trail to trail narrows to single-track (do not follow the natural path indicated by warning signs but follow the n ° 71) and leads until you reach "Tessari" but only after passing stretches of rock, singl-track gravel and steep descents.
Once in the valley, we follow the trail to the village of Canal and embarked on a new path in close to the highway underpass, climb to Rivoli and always go back on path to Affi.
Note: the tour is really nice but, despite the low mileage, requires good physical preparation (the final height difference is 765mt of about 35 km) and good technical downhill. The stretch from Pozza Galet a Tessari is indeed very challenging.
