Raggiungiamo la Bocchetta di Altare (salendo da Savona imbocchiamo la prima strada che sale a destra in prossimita del Forte di Altare) dallo slargo di fronte al monumento prendiamo la strada che abbiamo di fronte.
Dopo poco , circa 200 m. troviamo il primo incrocio , qui proseguiamo a destra.
In discesa proseguiamo su questa strada , incontriamo un bivio (km.2.4) e continuiamo a destra , subito dopo ad un altro bivio andiamo a invece a sinistra (km.2.7) .
Ora proseguiamo fino ad incontrare il centro ippico (km.4.7) lo superiamo e proseguiamo a sinistra , sempre tenendoci a sinistra andiamoa guadare il Rio Lodo.
Mantenendoci sulla stradina con qualce saliscendi evitando le vie laterali , e passati sotto il ponte ferroviario raggiungiamoil torrente Letimbro (Km.6) .
Proseguiamo su un sentiero e superiamo una frana (ATTENZIONE) , guadiamo il torrente altre due volte .
La strada ora passa nuovamente sotto il viadotto ferroviario e ci porta ad un altro bivio (km 7) svoltiamo seccamente a destra dove una ripida discesa ci porta a guadare per l' ultima volta il fiume.
Ci troviamo su una larga strada che non ci resta che seguire , superiamo il portico di una strana costruzione (km.8.6) .
Rimaniamo su asfalto fino ad un ponte dove scendendo a destra (km9.8) troviamo la strada che sale da Savona.
Scendiamo adestra e raggiungiamo Savona (km.18.2)
L'itinerario non presenta eccessive difficolta' e ci permette di rimanere in sella praticamente per tutto il percorso , l' unico tratto difficoltoso sono gli ultimi 100 metri che ci portano all' ultimo guado perchè la strada e decisamente devastata...
Fate attenzione inoltre alla situazione climatica ovviamente dopo forti piogge i guadi potrebbero essere difficoltosi od addirittura impraticabili!
Non dovrebbero esserci difficolta di orientamento in quanto la strada è unica e le vie laterali sono chiaramente fuorvianti , raramente sopratutto in autunno si puo' incontrare la nebbia (niente di drammatico , ma attenzione)

We reach the Bocchetta di Altare (Savona going to take the first street that goes right in the vicinity of Fort Altar) from the clearing in front of the monument take the road that we face.

The road now passes back under the railway viaduct and leads us to another fork in the road (7 km), turn sharply to the right where a steep descent brings us to wade for the 'last time the river.
We are on a wide road that we have to follow, we overcome the porch of a strange construction (km.8.6).
remain on asphalt up to a bridge where down on the right (km9.8) we find the road that goes from Savona.
right just go down and reach Savona (km.18.2)
< br> The route does not present too much difficulty 'and allows us to stay in the saddle almost all the way, the' single stroke difficult are the last 100 meters that lead us to 'last ford because the road and downright devastated ... < br> Pay attention also to the climatic situation of course after heavy rains the river crossings may be difficult or even impractical!
There should be no difficulty in orientation as the road is unique and the side streets are clearly misleading, especially in the fall you can rarely 'meet the fog (nothing dramatic, but be careful)
