Die Tour startet am Parkplatz bei der Gaststätte "Zum Bräu" in der Sandbergstraße und führt zunächst nach Ramelsbach und am Vierkirchner Naturbad vorbei in Richtung Norden. In Ebersbach lohnt sich ein kurzer Halt bei den zotteligen Highlandrindern. Das Petershauser Holz an der Grenze zum Landkreis Pfaffenhofen wird zunächst nördlich und dann in östliche Richtung durchquert. Weiter gehts Richtung Glonntal und ab Herschenhofen direkt an der Glonn entlang nach Hohenkammer. Beim dortigen Schloss ist im Sommer eine Einkehr im Biergarten eine gute Gelegenheit zum Ausruhen. Frisch gestärkt geht die Tour in südliche Richtung nach Waltenhofen weiter. Im anschließenden Weißlinger Holz sind ein paar kurze steile Anstiege. Die Waldwege sind bei Nässe rutschig, aber gut zu befahren. Weiter südlich wird das Giebinger Holz durchquert und am Rettenbach entlang kommt man zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Dort ist noch eine Einkehr im Gasthaus "Zum Bräu" möglich.
