Trail Description

Verso orario – km 28 – dislivello 1300m.

Clockwise - 28 km - altitude 1300m. - Height 860m / a max.1809m
Our tour kicks off from the parking lot located on the outskirts of Paularo next to the petrol station. From here you start cycling on the road 23 in direction Tolmezzo for approximately 2.5 km to the junction with the road to Saline and Rivalpo. We continue on the paved road and meets on a bend and a beautiful fresh waterfall. Continuing on asphalt, you reach the village of Valle and then turn left towards Rivalpo and you reach the church of St. Martin. Continuing uphill, the road begins to climb the mountain and the slope is constant and with a series of switchbacks and after a little more than 14 km from the start you get to C.ra Valmedan Alta. From here, take the path Cai 409 (01 Wp) where the graft is not so evident and with bikes on their shoulders go up on foot for about 30 minutes until fork of Mount Tersadia at an altitude of 1800 meters.
Reaching the saddle After admiring the view over the valleys below go downhill, always following the path Cai 409 cycle that occurs in the first section and then become disjointed at times and exposed. If you are in possession of a good technical ability to guide, the trail is almost entirely cycle continually changing from gravel to forest with roots, until it was smooth and fun between leaves and pine needles. After reaching the provincial Paularo, turn left, go up briefly to Ligosullo and shortly after you take down on an easy dirt road on the right. After some ups and downs, you will come to a fork in the road uphill (WP02) where we turn to the right, leaving the cart track to a single track almost invisible from the entrance, where the first part makes us go down on a bed of pine needles fun, only to then turn in a stony path first and then cemented that brings us to come out to Villamezzo and soon to Paularo.
