Trail Description

We start at the Landscape Museum Schloss Trautenfels in the community Pürgg-Trautenfels (postcode: 8951), in the beautiful Enns Valley. Passing the discovered a few years ago, prehistoric Evangelical Church (one of the first in the Enns Valley) it goes past the foot of the Grimming (ascents which is also recommended, but not for day trippers), direction Untergrimming. From now on we follow the well-marked "nature trail" until shortly before Lessern. The trail leads along the creek Grimmig. The old "Klachau" up is the only one long ascent on asphalt. From the community Klachau then follow the railway line Stainach-Irdning / Bad Aussee zuück after Lessern! Shortly before Lessern you can still make a small detour to walk to the waterfall. Then you just go back to the nature trail in the direction Pürgg, the Kripperl Styria. How to get Pürgg and one is quite hungry so the inn Krenn is highly recommended. A short but crisp exit, past the likely loneliest station Styria, ended almost back the short tour. Finally, we come at the fish ponds in Trautenfels past (where you can also eat well) and back to the starting point. Until next time and enjoy biking !!!
