Die Aufzeichnung erfolgte mit Garmin 60CSx und die Nachbearbeitung mit Touratech QV4. Diese Tour ist eine Alternative zur recht anspruchsvollen Tour „HvdH-04 Kombi-Tour 4 Täler und Rund um Grafenberg“ mit #10685. Diese Tour kann auch verwendet werden um die o. g. anspruchsvolle Tour bei Bedarf abzukürzen. Zur Tourbeschreibung: Vom Parkplatz unter der A44 startet man in südlicher Richtung. Am Rundkurs angekommen kann man die Tour in beide Richtungen befahren – die Empfehlung - beim ersten Befahren - ist entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn. Nach der schönen Zuführung zum Aaperwald wird dieser auf dem kürzestem Wege im ständigem Auf un Ab durchfahren und man gelangt über den Grafenbergerwald zum Aussichtspunkt "Schöne Aussicht" mit Blick über Düsseldorf. Über tolle Wege geht es vorbei am Wildpark, Pferderennbahn mit Golfplatz und dem Geresheimerwald bis zur Einkehrmöglichkeit auf dem Hof Papendelle. Die Strecke führt ab hier mit sehr wechselnder Landschaft über Feldwege, viel Wald und auch an Flussläufen vorbei durch die Natur. Man fährt in einem großen Kreis vorbei an Erkrath bis kurz vor Mettmann und durch das Schwarzbachtal zurück nach Ratingen und da bekommt man schon einiges geboten. Im Gegensatz zur vollen 4 Tälertour mit 51 km und 1180 Hm fährt man hier 42 km mit 800 Hm. Wer zum Abschluss Kaffee und Kuchen möchte kann 200 m vor dem Ende der Tour auf der rechten Seite im "Bauerngarten Gut Roland" - bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse - gut Einkehren.
