Il giro prevede una parte iniziale su asfalto, 9 km fino al valico delle Capannelle, dove si abbandona la ss80 voltando a sinistra (indicazioni per Campo Imperatore). Altri circa 5 km per arrivare al bivio per "Acqua San Franco" dove inizia la mulattiera (da imboccare) che sale al Passo del Belvedere. Si prosegue scendendo per sentiero verso il rifugio Panepucci. Poco prima del rifugi, dove il sentiero inizia a salire, si taglia per prati verso destra in direzione del bosco dove si ritrova il sentiero. Si percorre un tratto di discesa con vari tornantini su una traccia non sempre evidente e spesso ingombra di rami secchi. Seguendo questa si arriva ai piedi di una radura e, costeggiando il suo bordo inferiore, si riprende il sentiero nel bosco. Da qui il percorso è sempre ben evidente e con vari saliscendi si arriva in Val Chiarino. Una breve deviazione verso monte porta al rifugio Fioretti (masseria Vaccareccia). Da qui, seguendo l'ampia mulattiera, si torna al punto di partenza.

The tour includes an initial on-road, 9 km to the pass Capannelle, where you leave the SS80 turn left (signs for Campo Imperatore). More about 5 km to reach the junction for "Water San Franco" where the trail begins (take from) that goes up to the Passo del Belvedere. Continue going down the path towards the shelter Panepucci. Shortly before the huts, where the trail begins to climb, cut lawn to the right in the direction of the forest where you can find the trail. Along a downhill section with several hairpins on a track does not always obvious and often cluttered with dead branches. Following this you will come to a clearing and, along its lower edge, take the path in the woods. From here the route is still evident with many ups and downs, and it comes in Val Chiarino. A short detour takes you to the mountain refuge Fioretti (farm Vaccareccia). From here, follow the wide trail to return to the starting point.
