Trail Description


Partendo in prossimità della frazione di Tegoia (acqua) si raggiunge la località di Pievescola (acqua), costeggiando ed attraversando alcune cave di marmo, molto diffuse nella Montagnola Senese.
Si prosegue su strada bianca in direzione Molino dell'Elsa, per poi dirigersi verso l'imbocco di una salita su sterro e acciottolato, che ci porta a lambire numerosi vecchi poderi, quasi tutti riadattati ad agriturismo ed a centri di meditazione. Lungo questo tratto ci s’imbatte anche nel parco di sculture di pietre “Selva di Sogno - Dreamwoods”, di cui si possono avere maggiori informazioni consultando il sito del Comune di Casole - sez. Arte nel territorio.
Ci ritroviamo quindi su un breve tratto d’asfalto (SS 541), da cui si prende a sx il bivio per Tonni; si percorre un sentiero di bosco fino a questa località (acqua), dopodiché si prosegue su sterro per raggiungere il punto di arrivo dell’itinerario.
Il percorso è molto pedalabile e si può praticare tutto l’anno.
Si consiglia particolare attenzione in prossimità delle cave di marmo, dove si incontrano spesso tratti di terreno smosso.

Continue on dirt road in the direction Molino Elsa, for Then head to the entrance of a climb up the earthwork and paving, which leads us to lick many old estates, almost all adapted to farm and meditation centers. We find then on a short stretch of asphalt road (SS 541), from where you take the left fork for tunas; along a forest trail up to this location (water) and then continue on excavation to reach the end point of the route.
The route is pedaled and you can enjoy all year round.
Pay special attention near the marble quarries, where we often encounter stretches of loose soil.
