Wegen der Kürze eine klassische "Feierabendtour", welche an verschiedensten Orten gestartet werden kann. Für Biker aus dem Raum Linz eignet sich wohl der Parkplatz in Rufling beim Spielplatz am besten (Aufzeichnung beginnt jedoch in Wilhering/Mühlbach). Mit einem Asphaltanteil von nur 5 Kilometern (auf praktisch unbefahrenen Strassen) ist diese (durchgehend fahrbare) Tour ausgesprochen "ländlich" - betrachtet man die Nähe zur Stadt. Auf Forststrassen, Karrenwegen und auch Singletrails werden auf dieser kurzen Strecke mehr als 600 Höhenmeter "gemacht" - für´s Flachland um Linz nicht wirklich wenig. Die durchfahrenen Ortschaften Reith, Appersberg, Thürnau, Gumpolding, Großhart, Annaberg und Thalham laden nicht wirklich zu einer Rast ein, doch ist diese aufgrund der kurzen Gesamtdistanz wohl auch nicht nötig. WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Im gesamten Kürnbergwald ist Biken verboten; selbstverständlich ist das Rad zu schieben ;-)
