Trail Description

Character: The tour is based on the both also to be found here as & quot; moderate & quot; and & quot; sporty & quot; designated panoramic tours. Besides the beautiful views of Marburg, longer and steeper climbs are listed. The departures include exposed spots and lots of stairs. Specially added is a passport saga of the Elisabeth Church up to the castle and from there through a series of sometimes steep stairs through the old town back down to the river Lahn. The tour, except through the town, mostly on forest roads and paths. Description: The tour starts in Michel Bach at the community center and only performs once up on trails and forest roads to & quot; Wasserhäuschen & quot ;. Passages, she is initially equal to the return. It is right to hold. On Wasserhäuschen left and immediately left again into the forest. A beautiful trail leads, partly exposed and slightly supernatural steps down into the ditch in the devil. Who it is too steep, can avoid a particularly difficult passage along the railing. Unfortunately this beautiful departure must be atoned with a steep climb to Marie cottage. Drivers of light Hard part is a clear advantage. At the edge of the slope and through a valley it goes along until Friday Temple (beautiful view). From there, waiting for us a challenging descent with tight switchbacks. After the passage of a house once more up nbsp to a majestic &; Monument, then down through a path with stairs and switchbacks towards Elisabeth Church. The winding staircase to the & quot; Mich moose & quot; is a special treat. The path of the Elisabeth Church up to the castle is well secured and past some fraternity houses. Only the top part goes back over a forest road and then in the castle gardens. We pass the fountain pipes of old water line of the castle and go to the Castle stage by a staircase on the Gisonenweg. (Can, of course, who wants to go up and look from there via Marburg) in the square below the castle keep to the right through the gate. Left of the & nbsp; Entrance to view Local & quot; Bücklingsgarten & quot; leads the & quot; Büßertreppe & quot; (On the front sides of the steps are then known serious illnesses carved) steeply down to the Lutheran parish church. The winding stairs to the portal is another special treat and will put in a train & nbsp; be. A few steps further we are then on the Barfüßerstraße and turn left towards market place. If necessary, on the way the left one bike shop for spare parts. The Marburger City Hall and the marketplace are certainly worth a look before it left the town hall and down to the & nbsp at the statue of Sophie of Brabant; University Church passes on the bending road. Now follow the Lahn, a pedestrian bridge over the Lahn and highway. An upward view shows the Wilhelmsturm, our next destination. First, even quot on tarred roads on &; Tabor & quot; over it goes back into the forest. This time I chose a slightly steeper climb to the tower. Who wants it more uniform, better take the path to the fish ponds along (see the other panoramic tours). On Wilhelmsturm the view could be enjoyed again. There would also be there a cafe for refreshments and toilets. It could also be in reasonably good weather climbing the tower, as it offers a great view of Marburg and the itinerary. Continue on tour Local & quot; Spiegelslustturm & quot; and weathered stairs and woodland walks into a side of Marburg. A short ascent brings us finally to the & quot; Hans houses & quot ;. There something about paved footpaths and side roads right back into the forest and the edge of the slope down along to South Station. About the railway and the highway brings us a footbridge. Then, on the Lahn and a walk to the sports facilities of the Georg-Gassmann stadium along after Ockershausen. Those who wish may make the stadium a little trip to the applied in October 2009 skate and bike park. Now back up and after the houses the increasingly steep Totenweg up on the Tannenberg. When refreshing about the Hasenküppel probably helps the magnificent view of Marburg, the castle in the background of Wilhelm storm (we were not there? ...) And in the blue haze losing Gladenbacher mountains. The departure in a former quarry does not represent a bit of a challenge, then it is just the water house and back towards Michel Bach Wehrshausen through the forest. We keep right again, so to take one last run with natural steep curve can. Anyone who wishes can choose the tour by a ride on the stairs right at the town house and down to the football field. Enjoy your descendants! For stairs down: On the stairs especially in Marburg is always expected to pedestrians. To overthrow Before this audience is embarrassing. A passer-by would even hurt is unforgivable! Therefore, caution and no overconfidence please!
